Lifeline Central Victoria & Mallee Inc, based in Bendigo, has been an accredited Lifeline Centre since 1995.

Lifeline supports Australians through times of personal crisis – crises that can include suicidal thoughts, relationship problems, gambling addiction, depression, stress and loneliness.

Managed by Leo Schultz, Lifeline Central Victoria & Mallee is a small, community-based agency with over 70 volunteers and three paid staff.

We focus on our telephone counselling service and providing community training. Unlike many Lifeline centres we don’t have a second hand clothing store or any other retail outlet.

In 2015 our dedicated team of volunteers answered over 22,500 calls from people in crisis.

In early 2016 we trained 17 new volunteer Telephone Crisis Supporters. To enquire about volunteering for Lifeline central Victoria and Mallee please contact us.
