Please, be a lifeline, and help to save lives this Christmas
Give a loved one a card this Christmas, and provide someone else with a lifeline.
Christmas is not a festive time for everyone. Financial stress, isolation, mental health and suicidal thoughts don’t take holidays. Nor do our volunteers, who are available 24 hours a day over the festive season to talk with those in need of a friend at Christmas.
Welcome to Lifeline Central Victoria & Mallee
Lifeline Central Victoria & Mallee is proud to participate in Lifeline’s 13 11 14 crisis support service. Our goal is a suicide-free Australia. And we aim to help build resilient communities through helping address mental health issues, isolation, stress, anxiety and loneliness within our broader community.
Our team of dedicated volunteers answered over 22,500 calls from people in crisis and distress in 2015 on things such as depression, anxiety, gambling problems, relationship breakdowns, suicidal thoughts and mental health issues.
